FAQ

Q. What kind of painting would you like?
A. The donations we are looking for (be it a painting, a photograph, sculpture, etc.) could be described as 'uplifting'. We will not be accepting anything considered obscene, racist or any nude art pieces and will not link to websites with such content. The art pieces do not have to be originals.

Q. Can I get a official tax receipt for my donation?
A. No. We are currently registered with the Government of Canada as a non-profit organization, not a charity. This is the main reason we offer the 10% back of your item's sale price.

Q. Who receives the proceeds?
A. For our event in March, we will be
supporting: Global Aid Network - GAIN (water), Lifeline Malawi (medical), Philip Quaque School Restorative Project, Ghana (education), Christian Children's Fund of Canada (development) and the Mustard Seed (local)

Q. Are individuals earning a salary from canadian artists for the poor?
A. No. We are all volunteers.

Q. Can my boyfriend/husband attend the event for free as well?
A. Yes. If you are a contributing artist, you may bring a guest with you - no extra charge.

Q. Can I donate more than one art piece?
A. Yes!
